Show your support for Kenesaw in a safe, social-distancing way.  May 6th from 7-8pm there will be a parade.  Keep reading for details.

Kenesaw Community Development  Corporation and the Kenesaw School Foundation are once again participating in Hastings Give Day.  As a way to raise awareness for Give Day, and to come together (safely!) as a Kenesaw community, we invite Kenesaw Public School and Christ Lutheran school students and their families to join us for a parade.  Please read all the details and regulations below to make sure you understand how to adhere to COVID-19 health regulations.

The parade is free to attend.  If you are able, we encourage you to give online to these two great Kenesaw organizations to help keep our community strong. This is the fifth year Kenesaw has been involved in Hastings Give Day.  Your tax-deductible donations go straight to improvements in Kenesaw and our school and helps Kenesaw earn matching funds from the Hastings Community Foundation.

Please consider supporting us today and hope to see you on May 6th!

Parade Route (same as Easter Parade):

2. Head north and pull up curbside at the Kenesaw Market to receive a treat courtesy of Kenesaw Community Development and the Kenesaw School Foundation.

STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE

3.  Follow the parade route north to Elm Street and turn right (east).  Continue east to 5th Street and turn right (south).  You will continue past the school and turn around in the bus parking at the elementary end of the school.

4.  You will now be headed north.  Continue to the school parking lot, turn right, and drive behind the school, past the preschool entrance and out by the baseball field to the highway to end the parade.

We are also working on details to hopefully have our teachers and seniors involved, so please stay tuned for details if we are able to incorporate this into the event.
