Our March Student of the Month is Sylvia Schnieder. She was nominated by Mrs. Benton who said, “Sylvia is a joy to teach. She is always brave enough to offer her thoughts in class and is willing to talk out her ideas. In the freshman science course, I can always count on Sylvia to work. She signed up for a big challenge as a freshman by taking the AP Biology class with juniors and seniors and has been impressive in class, often earning the highest marks across all three sections. I was also impressed with her passion for important causes back in ‘Dress-ember; she approached me about participating and spoke persuasively about the issue of human trafficking that inspired the event. I look at her and just know that Sylvia is going to change the world someday.”
