February is Career Technology Education (CTE) month and we are informing, showcasing, and celebrating all SIX of our Kenesaw Career Pathways.
Each week throughout the month, 8th & 9th graders will be introduced to different pathways to ensure students have an understanding of all of the course opportunities we offer here at Kenesaw and can make informed decisions about which classes they feel will best serve their interests and career ambitions.
On Friday, March 1st, 8th & 9th grade students will participate in the FIRST ever “Career Pathway Signing Ceremony” where they will commit to their chosen pathway and pick their career classes for next year.
It is the goal of Kenesaw Public Schools and a state priority that all of our students graduate college and career-ready. Students who successfully complete three successive courses in a pathway will graduate as “Concentrators” and be offered opportunities for college credit, work-based learning, industry certifications, internships, and career exploration.
