The 5th and 6th grade classes got to experience life on the prairie at Stuhr Museum. 5th graders were able to learn about the Pawnee Indians that were native to this area and were able to go into a real teepee and earth lodge. 6th graders leaned about Civil War times. They were able to help make a rug using a weaving loom, write secret messages using lemon juice, and iron clothes using an old-time cast iron. It was a fun-filled educational day for all.
