Educational Philosophy
To quote Carl Sagan, “Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.” In my classroom, I put more emphasis on how to make sense of and evaluate information from multiple sources, which are skills that all students can use in the real world. I believe that all students can learn and bring diverse strengths to classroom discussions; thus, we need input from all students to make sense of scientific concepts and processes.
