Welcome Back

Dear KPS Community, Parents, and Students,

It is my pleasure to extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all of you as we approach the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.  Like each new school year, the buzz and excitement is building as we soon approach the first days of school.  More and more teachers are entering the school to prepare their classrooms for students, coaches are holding camps and clinics to get a leg up on the sports seasons, students are making plans to enjoy the last days of summer, our custodians are scrambling to complete projects, and the Kenesaw community eagerly awaits the opportunity to partake in the many activities that revolve around the school setting.

Like all of you, I too am excited for the beginning of a new year.  New goals will be set, obstacles overcome, and challenges will be met as we work to provide each student with a quality learning experience and to prepare them for future success.  I am thankful for the outstanding group of educators that make up Kenesaw Public Schools.  Our teachers are devoted to supporting students with being the best version of themselves possible, while support staff members perform their job duties in a manner that enhances the learning environment and adds value to each student’s experience.  The efforts of these folks are what make Kensew Public Schools great.

To the parents of our students, thank you for entrusting us with your children.  This is an enormous responsibility that we do not take lightly.  It is our goal and expectation to support your child through their educational journey and to allow them to take part in learning activities that will encourage them to be competent, independent, and capable learners.

Students, I want to wish all of you a successful and memorable 2024-2025 school year.  This school year will be what you make of it.  The slate is blank.  Persevere through Tough Times – Blue Devil Grit!  Give your Best Effort – Blue Devil Pride!  Make the Most of your Learning Opportunities – Inspire Excellence!

Lastly, please know that our doors are always open.  If you need to speak with a teacher or administrator about an issue we will follow the Kenesaw Chain of Command to best address the situation at the appropriate level.

Looking forward to an outstanding school year!
