Educational Philosophy
My philosophy is that all children can learn! With the right supports and scaffolds, as well as an affirming, positive environment, they can reach heights they may never have dreamed of. I have a quote in my office that says, "Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them." ~Lady Bird Johnson
I think the world judges people's intelligence based on many things, including the way they speak and write; therefore, it's my mission to assist students with optimal communication skills to let the world know how bright they are in their own, unique ways.

I am getting married in November to Marc Godfread. I have four children: Mason, Cade, Beau and Baylor. Marc has four children as well: Madie, Brenna, Ava and Braedon. We have two grandchildren: Colter and Wells.

Spending time with my adult children, shopping at antique and thrift stores, attending performing arts events, and watching Husker sports. I also love to play with babies and sing.
