Carlie Kwiatkowski
1st Grade Teacher
I grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska and graduated from Grand Island Northwest. I went to UNK and got my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education K-6 in December of 2011. I just received my Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Early Childhood from UNK in May 2018. My first two years out of college I was a classroom paraprofessional in the Kearney Public Schools district. I then taught for four years in Franklin, Nebraska. My first two years were in Special Education, one year was First grade and my last year there was Second grade.
I live in Kearney with my husband, Lance, and our 8 year old chocolate lab, Rylee. When I am not working on things for school, I enjoy reading, cooking, surfing pinterest, crafting and scrapbooking, spending time with family, and being outdoors next to the water!
Employed with Kenesaw Public Schools since 2018.
