The after school 4-H club worked on blocks for a Quilts of Valor project. (The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.) On Thursday, February 27, club members attentively sewed strips onto blocks, completing enough blocks for one quilt, plus additional blocks. The blocks will be sewn together by a quilting group and the completed quilt will be given to an Adams County serviceman or servicewoman when completed.
