It is great to have the opportunity to be back in a small town. I am originally from Pilger, NE located in the northeast part of the state. I grew up on a family farm there and we still farm and hunt the ground to this day. I spent the last 8 years teaching math and science at Windy Hills Elementary in Kearney, NE. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNK. I met my wife, Jennifer Karr, while attending UNK, she is originally from Hastings, NE. We have two children, Clara and Henry. Clara is 6.5 and she will be a first grader this fall. Henry is 2.5 years old. I typically like to spend time with my family doing a number of activities depending on the weather.
